On the background of a dramatic agreement between Israel and Lebanon – an agreement which attempts to pave a joint path toward the dismantling of Hizballah, an Israeli withdraw and a possible normalization between the two countries – happy to share a “deep dive” perspective on the Lebanese front and the challenges ahead. It has been the first time for Lebanon to say that it seeks the disarmament of Hezballah – and while this doe not guarantee this result – this is a brazen and an important statement that may help pave a different future between the two countries.
